Just as our church building stands at the centre of our village, so we aim to be the focus for God in our community, bringing the good news of Jesus Christ to all who are open to hear it. All we do will be rooted in prayer as we seek God's guidance in playing our part in the life of our village and of our nearby city of Derby.

We see children and families as important for the future of our community and our nation and seek to make the Gospel, church life and worship more accessible to them. As part of this vision, we will continue to develop our support for the Curzon School and to further our links with the staff and pupils.

Equally, we consider it important to help with the needs of others where we can, whether these are spiritual or physical. This can be through provision of opportunities for prayer, learning, discussion and faith development, through personal contact, or through financial support for organisations which provide physical help.
